Abstract:
Práce Medikalizace společnosti 19. století? se zabývá mírou pronikání medicínských poznatků na stránky neodborné literatury, konkrétně kalendářů uložených v depozitáři Východočeského muzea v Pardubicích. Popisuje jaké typy poznatků a v jaké míře se objevovaly v těchto kalendářích. Na základě těchto zjištění se snaží rozhodnout, zda se jednalo skutečně o medikalizaci společnosti v 19. století. The paper Medicalization of society in 19. century? describes the rate of medical knowledge that we can find on the pages of the literature, that was primarily targeted on the common reader.
