Abstract:

Špalková, Veronika. 2016. Ruská anexe Krymu z pohledu teorie rovnováhy hrozeb. Olomouc: Univerzita Palackého v Olomouci. Tato bakalářská práce je vedena jako případová studie, jejímž cílem je pochopit důvody Ruské federace pro anexi Krymského poloostrova v roce 2014. Výchozím předpokladem je, že Ruská federace podnikla tento krok ve snaze vyrovnat bezpečnostní hrozbu, kterou vytvořila Severoatlantická aliance některými svými kroky, jež podnikla po roce 1991, kdy se rozpadl Svaz sovětských socialistických republik. Pro testování byla vybrána teorie rovnováhy hrozeb Stephana Walta, která se řadí mezi teorie neorealismu mezinárodních vztahů. Z této teorie byly odvozeny čtyři proměnné (geografická blízkost protivníka, ofenzivní schopnosti, agresivita potenciálního nepřítele a agregovaná moc), které byly v praktické části práce testovány. Cílem druhé fáze testování bylo potvrzení kauzality vztahu mezi bezpečnostní hrozbou, vytvořenou Severoatlantickou aliancí, a ruskou anexí Krymu.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is led as a one case study. The goal of this bachelor thesis is to understand the reasons that led to annexation of Crimea by Russian federation in 2014. The underlying premise is that Russian federation made this move to balance a security threat which was made by North Atlantic Treaty Organization through some moves made after 1991 when Soviet union collapsed. For testing was chosen the balance threats theory of Stephan Walt which is among of international relations neorealism theories. From this theory was derived four variables (geographical proximity, power projection, aggression and aggregate power) for testing. The goal of the second phase of testing was a confirmation of causality between security threat made by North Atlantic Treaty Organization, and annexation of Crimea by Russian federation
