Abstract:
Hlavním cílem této diplomové je provést kompletní rozbor úryvků z českých dějepisných učebnic používaných mezi lety 1890 až 1989, které se týkají severoamerických dějin. Dalším úkolem je interpretovat, jakým způsobem tyto úryvky odrážejí vliv mytické narace. Hlavním úmyslem tedy není určit, co z toho odpovídá či neodpovídá realitě dějin, ale spíše určit jakým způsobem je příběh o těchto dějinách vyprávěn …more
Abstract:
The main aim of this diploma thesis is to analyze passages concerning the history of the United States of America in Czech history textbooks which were being used from 1890 to 1989. The next task is to interpret how they reflect the influence of political myths. Thus the main purpose is not to determine if these extracts are true or slightly modified but to describe how the story is told and why.
