Adaptive plasticity and its effect on neuroblastoma chemotherapy
Abstract:
V této diplomové práci se věnujeme vlivu inhibice kinázy Akt a současně OXPHOS na počet živých buněk linií neuroblastomu SK-N-(BE)2 a SH-SY5Y. Kináza Akt přispívá k proliferaci buněk, potlačování apoptózy a k přežívání za nepříznivých podmínek. Je hlavním regulátorem energetického metabolismu a její inhibice, společně s inhibicí mitochondriální respirace, je slibný nástroj protinádorové terapie. My …moreAbstract:
The aim of this thesis is to clarify the effect of the Akt kinase inhibition occuring simultaneously with inhibition of OXPHOS on viability of neuroblastoma cell SK-N-(BE)2 and SH-SY5Y. The Akt kinase promotes cell proliferation, inhibits apoptosis and contributes to survival of cells in hostile conditions. It is the main regulator of energetic metabolism. Its inhibition together with the inhibition …more
