Abstract:

Bakalářská práce představuje průběh a důsledky útoku na Pardubice a Chrudimský kraj roku 1639 během švédského tažení do Čech. Postupně popisuje švédský vpád do Čech od jeho počátku na jaře 1639 až do jeho konce na jaře 1640. Stěžejní částí práce je zkoumání útoků na Pardubice a Chrudimský kraj, útoky sleduje převážně z vojenského hlediska a vyhodnocuje jejich dopady na města a kraj.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis presents the course and consequences of the attack on Pardubice and the Chrudim region in 1639 during the Swedish campaign in Bohemia. It gradually describes the Swedish invasion of Bohemia from its beginning in the spring of 1639 to its end in the spring of 1640. The core part of the work is the investigation of the attacks on Pardubice and the Chrudim region, it follows the attacks mainly from a military point of view and evaluates their impact on the cities and the region.
