Alternative photographic techniques - editing of information in graphical data

Abstract:

Předmětem diplomové práce je napodobení ručních fotografických technik - platinotypie, kyanotypie a techniky Van Dyke ? digitálním filtrem založeným na umělých neuronových sítích. Navržená metodika editace informací v grafických datech, jejímž cílem je vytvořit věrnou kopii manuálního procesu vyvolávání fotografií danou technikou, je založená na použití množin neuronových sítí, adaptovaných metodou backpropagation a přispívajících do výsledné grafiky na základě definovaných váhových matic. Jádrem navržené metodiky je kompozice výsledků generovaných jednotlivými neuronovými sítěmi s danou konfigurací po adaptaci. Hlavní součástí práce je ověření navržené metodiky v experimentální studii. ? Analyzovat problematiku z oblasti alternativních fotografických technik se zaměřením na platinotypii, kyanotypii a techniku Van Dyke ? Rešerše problematiky využití digitálních filtrů při řešení úloh souvisejících s editací informací v grafických datech (využití umělých neuronových sítí) ? Analýza a implementace vybraného problému

Abstract:

The aim of the thesis is imitation of handmade original techniques used for platinotype, cyanotype, and Van Dyke via digital filters based on artificial neural networks. The proposed methodology of editing information in graphical data, which aims to create a faithful copy of the manual process of alternative photographic techniques, uses backpropagation neural networks and contributes to the resulting graphics on the basis of defined transformation matrixes. The core of the proposed methodology is the composition of the results generated by individual neural networks with their configurations after adaptation over the proposed training set. An essential part of this article is to verify the proposed methodology in an experimental study. ? Analyze issues in the field of alternative photographic techniques with a focus on platinotype, cyanotype and Van Dyke Technology ? Research the issue of the use of digital filters in solving problems associated with editing information in graphical data (use of artificial neural networks) ? Analysis and implementation of selected problem
