Slang in the area of sport

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce obsahuje čtyři hlavní kapitoly, ve kterých jsou obsaženy další podkapitoly. První kapitola se věnuje samotnému slangu, původu tohoto slova, dále různým pohledům ze strany významných jazykovědců a hlavními aspekty slangu, které hrají významnou roli při užívání jednotlivých výrazů. Stěžejním tématem ve druhé kapitole je způsob tvoření jednotlivých slangismů a jednotlivé jazykové postupy, které pojednávají jednak o postupech slovotvorných, jednak o transpozičních postupech a jejich příkladech. Samotné metody práce a charakteristiky jednotlivých zdrojů, ze kterých jsem čerpal při analýze slangových výrazů, se vyskytují ve třetí kapitole - jejím cílem je seznámit čtenáře s důležitými okolnostmi mé práce. Čtvrtá hlavní kapitola se věnuje již samotným sportovním slangismům, které jsou užívány v rámci sportovního utkání.

Abstract:

This thesis contains four main chapters, which are contained in the following sections. The first chapter is dedicated to the slang, the origin of this word, as well as different perspectives from prominent linguists and main aspect that play an importatnt role in the use of individual expressions. The main topic of the second chapter is a way of creating individual slang words each language and processes that deal with the word-formation procedures and the transposition procedures and examples. The actual methods of work and the characteristics of the sources, from which I drew the analysis of slang expressions, are found in the third chapter - its goal is to introduce the reader to the relevant circumstances of my work. The fourth main chapter is devoted to the sport itself has slang words, that are used in a sports match.
