This thesis analyzes the ten most popular Hollywood blockbusters of the 1990s from feminist perspective. On the basis of textual analysis it explores how these films, which have been repeatedly screened on television around the world in the past decades, portray women’s role and position in society, professional sphere and family and personal relationships and how much quality space female characters …more
