Abstract:

Ceita, S. Ekonomické determinanty životní spokojenosti. Bakalářská práce. Mendelova univerzita v Brně, 2019.Bakalářská práce hledá faktory určující determinanty spokojenosti s vlastním životem. Primárním cílem výzkumu je proto prozkoumat zejména ekonomické faktory ovlivňující životní spokojenost v rámci OECD. Výzkumná studie využívá průřezová data 24 zemí v OECD v roce 2016 a regresní analýzu zahrnující použití metody OLS (Ordinary Least Square) k odhadu modelu.Výsledky výzkumu ukazují, že pouze znečištění ovzduší má negativní a statisticky významný vliv na spokojenost života. Úroveň příjmů má pozitivní, ale statisticky nevýznamný vliv na úroveň štěstí. Úrovně vzdělání a nezaměstnanosti mají negativní, ale statisticky nevýznamné dopady na životní spokojenost. Závěrem zůstává, že pouze míra znečištění se v modelu projevila jako statistiscky významný determinant spokojenosti obyvatelstva.

Mendel Univer-sity in Brno, 2019.This bachelor thesis search for factors that determine people’s feelings on whether life satisfaction is crucial for the healthy development of society. Therefore, the primary goal of the research study is to thoroughly investigate the economic fac-tors that influence life satisfaction within the OECD. The research study employs the cross-sectional data of twenty-four (24) countries in the OECD in 2016, and regression analysis involving the use of Ordinary Least Square (OLS) method to estimate the model. The research findings show that only air pollution has a negative and statistically significant effect on Life satisfaction. However, the income level has a positive and no significant influence on the level of happiness. Also, education level and unem-ployment both have negative but no significant effects on life satisfaction. The con-clusion remains that the level of air pollution is the primary determinant of life satisfaction.
