The Digital Raingauge

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá praktickou realizací digitálního srážkoměru. Cílem práce bylo zhotovit funkční digitální srážkoměr, jehož základem je měření počtu vodních kapek. Je zde popsán vznik deště, metody měření úhrnu srážek a v neposlední řadě funkční prvky mého srážkoměru. Návrh a realizace srážkoměru se opírá o laboratorní měření. Tato měření zahrnují výpočty hodnot pro řešení návrhu vyhodnocovací jednotky a přesnosti měření srážek. Systém snímání kapek je pro tuto oblast jedinečný a je zde popsán kompletní postup při výrobě tohoto systému. Výsledky poukazují na skutečnost, že pomocí tohoto srážkoměru se dají měřit úhrny srážek. Avšak jsou zde i technické nedostatky, které by bylo dobré odstranit.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis describes implementation of a digital rain gauge in practice. The purpose of this project was to put together a functional rain gauge (pluviometer), which principle is to measure the amount of liquid precipitation. It defines rain origination, procedures during measuring rainfall totals and also function elements of my rain gauge. The design and the implementation are based on laboratory measurements. These measurements show how the evaluation unit has been valued and accuracy of rainfall measurements. This system of reading the amount of rain drops is unique in this area and a complete manufacturing process is described in this thesis. The results show that sum totals of rainfalls can be measured by using this rain gauge. However, it also has its limitations, which should be eliminated.
