Influence of child's age to manage the requirements of pre-primary education.

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá otázkou, zda jsou dvouleté děti schopny zvládnout požadavky, které jsou na ně v mateřské škole kladeny, a také, zda je na vstup dvouletých děti připravena škola sama. Práce je členěna na dvě části: teoretickou a praktickou. Teoretická část je zaměřena na charakteristiku dětí od dvou do tří let, historii a současnost předškolního vzdělávání v České republice i ve světě. V závěru teoretické části je popsán Rámcový vzdělávací program pro předškolní vzdělávání, účinný od 1. 2. 2017, který nově zohledňuje vzdělávání dětí od dvou do tří let věku. V poslední kapitole se zabýváme školním vzdělávacím programem mateřské školy, kde byl výzkum prováděn. V empirické části je uveden výzkumný problém, cíle výzkumu a popsány metody sběru dat, kterými jsou pozorování a rozhovory s učitelkami. Zkoumaný vzorek tvoří celkem osm dětí z mateřské školy, čtyři děti ve věku dvou let a čtyři ve věku tří let. Jedná se tedy o záměrný výběr vzorku. Tyto věkové skupiny jsme po dobu čtyř měsíců pozorovali při různých činnostech během dne v mateřské škole a poté jsme obě skupiny porovnali se zřetelem na sociálně pedagogický rozměr. V závěru práce jsou uvedeny výsledky výzkumu.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the question whether the two year old children are able to handle the requirements, from kindergarten. Also, whether the kindergarten itself is ready to embrace two-year-old children. The thesis is divided into the two parts. Theoretical and practical. Theoretical part is focused on the characteristics of children from two to three years of age and further into the historical and current development of preschool education in Czechia and some other countries of the world. In the conclusion of the theoretical part of this thesis is description of Educational framework program for preschool education effective since 1st February 2017 which newly adjust the conditions of preschool education for children between two and three years of age. The last part is description of educational program in kindergarten where the research was made. The empirical part presents researched phenomenon. Its goals and methods of data collecting which are observation and interviews with teachers. The examined sample consists of eight children from kindergarten. Four of them were two years old and another four were three years old. It was intentional sample selection. These two groups have been observed for four months long period participating in various activities during the day in class. After that we compared both age groups with focus on social pedagogy. The results of research are presented at the end of this thesis.
