Corporate Social Responsibility in logistics processes in the supply chain management

Abstract:

Předkládaná práce se zabývá analýzou Corporate Social Responsibility, jednotlivými manažerskými nástroji, normami a standardy CSR v českých podnicích. První část práce (1. - 5. kapitola) se zaměřuje na shrnutí teoretických poznatků, vymezení jednotlivých pojmů, teorií, metod, nástrojů a jejich analýzu, komparaci a hodnocení. Druhá část práce (6. - 9. kapitola) představuje společenskou odpovědnost jako integrální součást logistických procesů v dodavatelsko-odběratelských vztazích, definuje zelenou logistiku a předkládá vlastní empirické šetření zkoumané problematiky na výběrovém vzorku 50 českých a 50 německých firem. V první kapitole je definována zkoumaná problematika, jsou naformulovány hypotézy a cíle, které budou řešeny v předložené disertační práci, jsou uvedeny etapy postupu řešení a vědecké metody řešení disertační práce. Druhá kapitola identifikuje genezi a vývoj Corporate Social Responsibility v USA v jednotlivých desetiletích 20. století, evoluci v evropských zemích a v EU. Jsou rozebrány i jednotlivé rozdíly ve vývoji z evropského a amerického pohledu, je zmíněna nejvýznamnější kritika CSR. Třetí kapitola vymezuje vztah CSR k příbuzným konceptům CSR, tj. CSR2, CSP, CC, SD, SRM, BE a firemní filantropii, u kterých je provedena deskripce, analýza a komparace. Ve čtvrté kapitole jsou identifikovány a analyzovány jednotlivé manažerské nástroje CSR, organizace a instituce na poli CSR, normy a standardy se vztahem k CSR. V páté kapitole je detailně popsán koncept CSR z evropského pohledu, jeho tři roviny, ekonomická, sociální a environmentální. Je zdůrazněn význam stakeholders a jejich zapojení nejen v implementačním cyklu CSR, ale i v procesu rozhodování. Je navržena implementace CSR v podniku a možnosti její komunikace. Šestá kapitola je zaměřena na současnou situaci na poli CSR v České republice. Pozornost je věnována stavu vnímání a postojům k CSR v ČR. Byla provedena komparace a hodnocení výsledků dvou ucelených průzkumů zaměřených na problematiku CSR v České republice. V sedmé kapitole je proveden návrh konceptu CSR jako integrální součásti dodavatelsko-odběratelského řetězce. Je detailně analyzován vztah CSR k zákazníkovi a dodavateli. Osmá kapitola je zaměřena na zelenou logistiku (green logistics) v dodavatelsko-odběratelském řetězci. V rámci logistických procesů jsou definovány její vazby vzhledem k environmentální a sociální složce CSR. Devátá kapitola představuje vlastní empirické šetření společenské odpovědnosti u top 50 českých a top 50 německých společností. V závěru práce (10. - 11. kapitola) jsou představeny výstupy disertační práce a jejich přínos pro rozvoj vědního oboru a podnikatelskou praxi.

Abstract:

The thesis analyses the CSR, management tools, norms and standards in relation to CSR in Czech companies. The first part of the thesis (Chapters 1 to 5) focuses on a summary, a comparison and an evaluation of theoretical findings, definitions of certain terms, methods, instruments, theories and their analysis. The second part of the work (Chapters 6 to 9) describes corporate social responsibility as a part of supply chain management in logistics processes, defines the green logistics and investigates the own large-scale search at the 50 biggest companies in the Czech Republic and in Germany. In the first chapter the problem is defined, the hypotheses and goals are formulated. These goals will be solved in the thesis. There are introduced the phases of the proceeding and the used scientific methods. The second chapter identifies the important milestones in the history of CSR, its evolution in the USA in the 20th century and evolution in European countries and in the EU. The differences in the evolution on each side of the Atlantic are mentioned and also the well-known critiques of CSR. The third chapter deals with the related concepts of CSR; they are CSR2, CSP, CC, SD, SRM, BE and company philanthropy. They are described, analyzed and compared and their relation to CSR is defined. In the fourth chapter CSR management tools, organizations, initiatives, norms and standards in the field of CSR are analyzed. In the fifth chapter the CSR concept and its three basic aspects are described in detail. Stakeholders and their involvement are highlighted. There is proposed the implementation process of CSR in the company and the possibilities of communication of CSR. The sixth chapter is focused on the current situation of CSR in Czech Republic. On the basis of two surveys was analyzed the current situation, the result were compared and evaluated. In the seventh chapter is defined the concept of CSR as a part of supply chain management, its relation to the customer and supplier is analyzed in detail. The eight chapter is focused on the green logistics in supply chain management, are defined their aspects to the environmental and social parts of CSR. The ninth chapter represents the self search of corporate social responsibility at the 50 biggest companies in the Czech Republic and in Germany. In the final chapters (Chapters 10-11) are represented the outputs of the thesis and are defined the contributions of the thesis for the development of discipline and the business activities.
