Strategic Analysis of eD system, a.s.

Abstract:

Podniky neustále čelí mnoha situacím, které negativně ovlivňují jejich výkon. Cílem bakalářské práce je proto provedení strategické analýzy podniku eD system, a.s. a stanovení doporučení pro zlepšení pozice společnosti na trhu. Tento cíl je naplněn konkrétními metodami, mezi které patří PESTEL analýza, VRIO analýza nebo SWOT analýza. Na trhu se pohybuje mnoho podniků, jejichž hlavním zaměřením je distribuce v oblasti elektroniky, stejně jako u analyzovaného podniku. ED system, a.s. má na trhu dobré postavení, ale je nutné neustále zdokonalovat procesy v podniku, aby nebyl vyřazen konkurencí z trhu. Na základě výsledků dílčích analýz byla stanovena doporučení, mezi která patří aktualizace webových stránek, rozšíření produktového portfolia nebo automatizace procesů. Pokud dojde k přiměřené implementaci těchto doporučení, společnost bude schopna si udržet svou pozici na trhu a adaptovat se na proměnlivé podmínky podnikání.

Abstract:

Companies constantly face many situations that negatively affect their performance. Therefore, the aim of the bachelor thesis is to perform a strategic analysis of the company eD system, a.s. and to determine recommendations for improving the company's position on the market. This objective is fulfilled by specific methods, which include PESTEL analysis, VRIO analysis or SWOT analysis. There are many companies on the market whose main focus is distribution in the electronics sector, as is the case with the company under analysis. ED system, a.s. has a good position in the market, but it is necessary to continuously improve the processes of the company in order not to be eliminated by the competition from the market. Based on the results of the partial analyses, recommendations were made, including updating the website, expanding the product portfolio or automating processes. If these recommendations are adequately implemented, the company will be able to maintain its market position and adapt to changing business conditions.
