Abstract:

This diploma thesis is about life and work of irish animation maker Tomm Moore. The goal here is reveal and understand the way how Tomm Moore realizes and makes his film and mainly show his crative and conteplative character and that he strongly percieve the world around him. Show to the reader how strong and picturesque the Irish culture and mythology can be. How very influences Moore's views on the issues that are dealt with in films. It is very important to note that the beauty of the knowledge that represents the Celtic myths and legends is still current and can turn into modern films and technologies, which Tom Moore manages marvelous.

Abstract:

Táto diplomová práca zpracováva život a dielo írskeho tvorcu animovaných filmov Tomma Moora. Cielom práce je odkryť a hlbšie pochopiť spôsob, akým Tomm Moore pristupuje k realizácii a tvorbe filmov a predovšetkým ukázať osobnosť tvorivého a všímavého človeka, ktorý veľmi intenzívne vníma svet okolo seba. Ukázať čitateľovi aká silná a malebná môže byť írska kultúra a mytológia. Ako veľmi ovplyvňuje Mooreov pohľad na problematiku, ktorými sa zaoberá vo filmoch. Je veľmi dôležité podotknúť, že krása z poznania, ktorú nám predstavujú keltské báje a legendy je aktuálna aj dnes a dajú sa previesť do moderného filmu a technológie, čo Tomm Moore zvláda doposiaľ bravúrne.
