Excise duty - harmonization in European union

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá spotřebními daněmi a jejich harmonizací v rámci Evropské unie. První část práce je věnována obecné daňové teorii a nejdůležitějším problematikám správy spotřebních daní. Druhá část se již zabývá samotným procesem harmonizace daní, právní úpravou a vývojem harmonizačního procesu v oblasti daní spotřebních. Cílem práce je seznámit čtenáře s problematikou spotřebních daní a v závěru navrhnout v rámci harmonizace opatření, která by měla vést k omezení daňových úniků.

Abstract:

This bachelor work deals with excise tax and their harmonisation within the European Union. First part of this work is devoted to a public tax theory and one of the most important problems of excise administration tax. Second part of the work is devoted to the process of tax harmonization, legal regulations and to the development of the harmonizing process within excise tax. The main aim of the work is introducing some problems of excise tax. In conclusion some steps within a harmonization are suggested there. These steps should lead to a limitation of tax evasions.
