Práce se zabývá obdobím biedermeieru po stránce kulturní, historické a umělecké. Je zaměřena také na problematiku literatury tohoto období. Biedermeier se mísí s prvky romantismu, preromantismu a nalezneme u něj i prvky osvícenské. Práce představuje i život vlastenecké spisovatelky Magdalény Dobromily Rettigové a analýzu její tvorby. Abstract:
This thesis is to summarize the Biedermeier period. You can find points about the cultural, historical and artistic facts of this part of life. There are mixed elements of romanticism and preromanticism in the Biedermeier culture. There can be also find elements of enlightenment in many pieces.
