V teoretické části budou vymezeny základní pojmy a termíny, které s danou problematikou souvisejí. Budou popsány nejvýznamnější kriminologické teorie, které se zabývají příčinami recidivy, respektive faktory, které podmiňují proces ukončování kriminální kariéry. The theoretical part will define the basic concepts and terms that are related to the issue. The most important criminological theories that deal with the causes of recidivism and the factors that determine the process of ending a criminal career will be described.
