Surfing phenomenon in the Czech Republic (the collection of interviews for Cocktail magazine)

Abstract:

Tato produktová bakalářská práce se věnuje pro Českou republiku nevšednímu sportu – surfingu a lidem, kterým ovlivnil život. Cílem práce je vytvořit sérii pěti publicistických rozhovorů s osobnostmi české surfařské komunity, určených pro magazín Koktejl. V první části práce autorka teoreticky ukotvuje téma surfování a žánr publicistický rozhovor. V druhé části se pak věnuje žurnalistickým postupům při vytváření žánru rozhovor. Empirická část práce je věnována popisu cílového média a postupům, které se v redakci uplatňují při tvorbě publicistického rozhovoru. K zjištění těchto informací autorce poslouží rešeršní rozhovory, dále pak redakční materiály. Produktový výstup práce tvoří pět publicistických rozhovorů, které autorka následně podrobí kritické reflexi a analýze.

Abstract:

This product bachelor thesis is dedicated to the Czech Republic’s unusual sports – surfing and people whose lives were influenced by it. The goal is to create a series of five journalistic interviews with figures of the czech surfing community for the magazine Koktejl. In the first part the author will be theoretically explaining the theme of surfing and the publicistic interview genre. The second part will be devoted to the journalistic procedures of creating an interview. The empirical part of the thesis is devoted to the description of the target media and the procedures which are applied in the editorial office during the creation of a publicistic interview. In order to acquire this information, the author will research interviews with journalists as well as other editorial materials. The output of the work consists of five journalistic interviews, which the author then subjects to critical reflection and analysis.
