Abstract:

Bakalářská práce Academic Jazz Band má sloužit jako podklad pro zlepšení propagace a povědomí o souboru, kde autor práce působí jako člen. Academic Jazz Band je jazzová kapela s více než šedesátiletou historií, jejím specifikem je hudební styl - jazz 20. let 20. století. Práce je členěna do dvou oddílů, a to teoretické části a praktické části. Teoretickou část tvoří historie vývoje jazzu, historie jazzu u nás, historie Academic Jazz Bandu od samotného vzniku až po současnost a umělecký vývoj kapely. Druhý díl práce tvoří praktická část věnující se zjišťování postoje jazzového publika vůči Academic Jazz Bandu, kde je použita metoda dotazníku a rozhovorů. Cílem práce je přispět k rozvoji tohoto hudebního uskupení.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis Academic Jazz Band is intended to serve as a basis for improving the promotion and awareness of the ensemble where the author works as a member. Academic Jazz Band is a jazz band with more than sixty years of history, its specificity is the musical style - jazz of the 1920s. The thesis is divided into two sections, the theoretical part and the practical part. The theoretical part consists of the history of jazz development, the history of jazz in our country, the history of the Academic Jazz Band from the very beginning to the present and the artistic development of the band. The second part of the work is a practical part devoted to the discovery of the jazz audience's attitude towards the Academic Jazz Band, where the questionnaire and interview method is used. The aim of this work is to contribute to the development of this musical group.
