Indoor multispecies microcosm as a new method of the ecotoxicity determination in the soil environment

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou vícedruhových testů využitelných pro hodnocení ekotoxikologických účinků látek kontaminující životní prostředí. Teoretická část diplomové práce je věnována ekotoxikologickým biotestům a jejich využitím. Pozornost je zaměřena na biotesty půdního systému, konkrétně vícedruhové testy toxicity - mikrokosmy, mezokosmy a polní studie. Druhá část literární rešerše je věnována kontaminaci půdy, především pesticidními přípravky. V části experimentální je popsán vícedruhový test ekotoxicity v půdním prostředí (mikrokosmos) na modelových organismech Lactuca sativa a Folsomia candida. Metodika byla nejdříve prověřena na standardní látce kyselině borité a následně byl testován pesticidní přípravek carbendazim.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the issue of multispecies tests that can be used for evaluation of ecotoxicological effects of environmental contaminants. The theoretical part of the diploma thesis is devoted to the ecotoxicological bioassays and their utilization. Attention is focused to the soil bioassays, in particular multispecies tests of toxicity - microcosms, mesocosms and field studies. The second part of the written review is devoted to the soil contamination, especially with pesticides. The experimental part describes a multispecies soil ecotoxicity test (microcosm) on a model organisms Lactuca sativa and Folsomia candida. The methodology of this test was first investigated on the standard boric acid substance and then was tested with the pesticide carbendazim.
