Assessment and Management of the Woody Plants in the Park in Višňové

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá dřevinami rostoucími ve vybrané části parku ve Višňovém. V ní byl v měsících srpen–říjen 2021 proveden dendrologický průzkum, sestávající ze soupisu stromů a určení jejich fyziologického stáří, vitality, zdravotního stavu, stability a perspektivy. Dále byl navržen vhodný zásah na těchto dřevinách a tyto zásahy byly naceněny. Bylo inventarizováno 255 dřevin a lze konstatovat, že péče o tyto dřeviny je zanedbaná. Svědčí o tom jejich špatný zdravotní stav, s nímž souvisí i velký počet navržených opatření. 47 dřevin je navrženo na odstranění. Navrhuje se celková rekonstrukce parku, případně alespoň systematická péče o jeho dřeviny.

Abstract:

This bachelor’s thesis deals with the woody plants in a selected part of the park in Višňové. A dendrological survey, consisting of an inventory of trees and an assessment of their physiological age, vitality, health, stability and perspective, was carried out in this part of the park during the months of August, September and October 2021. After that, appropriate care measures were proposed and their price established. A total number of 255 trees was recorded and it was concluded that the care of those trees had been neglected. This is demonstrated by their poor health and the related high number of suggested corrective measures. Moreover, 47 trees are proposed for felling. As a result, a complete reconstruction of the park, or at least a more systematic tree care is proposed.
