Abstract:

Čeleď krabů Inachidae, patřící do nadčeledi Majoidea (pavoučí krabi), je rozšířena ve všech mořích tropického i mírného pásma. Jejich významným rysem je schopnost maskování se vnějšími objekty (např. řasy, houby) za pomoci specializovaných morfologických struktur. Řada druhů vykazuje i symbiotické vazby s jinými mořskými organizmy. Fylogenetické vztahy v rámci této čeledi jsou stále nedostatečně objasněny. Cílem této diplomové práce bylo vypracovat literární rešerši se zaměřením na morfologii druhů čeledi Inachidae ze Středozemního moře a provést morfologický rozbor a systematickou revizi zástupců čeledi Inachidae z materiálu dostupného na PřF Ostravské univerzity. Bylo revidováno 11 druhů (3 rody ? Achaeus, Inachus a Macropodia) o celkovém počtu 642 jedinců z různých lokalit Středozemního moře a východního Atlantiku. Na základě systematické revize byly zjištěny dosud nehlášené lokality a objeveny nové morfologické znaky. Kladistická analýza morfologických znaků naznačuje blízkou příbuznost mezi rody Achaeus a Macropodia, zatímco rod Inachus se od nich odštěpuje. Druh Ergasticus clouei je oddělen jako samostatná větev a Dorhynchus thomsoni jeví blízký vztah s rodem Inachus. Pro řešení fylogenetických vztahů bude nutno uskutečnit další studie v kombinaci s molekulárními daty.

Abstract:

Crabs of the family Inachidae (superfamily Majoidea, spider crabs) occur in all tropical and temperate marine waters. One of the significant features of this group is ability to camouflage by external objects (e.g. algae, sponges) using specialized morphological structures. Many species show symbiotic relationships with other marine organisms. Phylogenetic relationships within this family are still unresolved. The aim of this master thesis was to carry out literature review with main focus on morphology of species of the family Inachidae from the Mediterranean Sea and to carry out morphological analysis and systematic revision of representatives of the family Inachidae from material deposited in the Faculty of Science of University of Ostrava. We revised 11 species (3 genera ? Achaeus, Inachus and Macropodia) of total 642 specimens from different localities of the Mediterranean Sea and the eastern Atlantic. Based on systematic revision we present new geographic records and newly found morphological features. Cladistic analysis of morphological features implies a close relationship between the genera Achaeus and Macropodia, whilst the genus Inachus is segregated from them. Ergasticus clouei is separated as a single branch and Dorhynchus thomsoni shows a close relationship with the genus Inachus. Further studies combining morphological and molecular data are needed for resolving phylogenetic relationships within the family Inachidae.
