Abstract:
Součástí diplomové práce je nejen stručné shrnutí vývoje obou měst; celkově regionů na české i německé straně hranice, ale i aktuální statistiky a soupis všech kulturních a společenských akcí, které se v současné době v Aši nebo v Selbu pořádají. Vše jsem doplnil o rozsáhlou fotografickou a faktografickou přílohu týkající se vývoje v posledních dvou desetiletích (výstavba, rekonstrukce apod.).
