Abstract:
Ve své práci se zabývám projevem osobní zpovědi v díle Sylvie Plath – The Bell Jar. Literární analýza se soustředí na paralely mezi autorčiným životem a jeho odrazem v díle. Zvláštní důraz pak práce klade na rozporuplný vztah matky a dcery, který významně ovlivnil jak život tak dílo Sylvie Plath.
Abstract:
My thesis concerns a personal confession of Sylvia Plath’s novel, The Bell Jar. I examine the parallels between Plath’s life and its artistic transformation into her works. It is strongly based on her journal entries and the rich correspondence with her mother.
