Diplomová práce se bude zabývat možnostmi výuky moderní americké literatury jako jednoho z témat závěrečné maturitní zkoušky. Diplomantka nejprve poskytne přehled odborné literatury zaměřené na výuku cizího jazyka ve spojení s krásnou literaturou, bude prezentovat zejména přínos tohoto propojení z hlediska učení cizího jazyka a analyzuje nejčastější učební metody a postupy.
