Hypertension in Pregnancy from the Midwife's Perspective

Abstract:

HODRMENTOVÁ, Michaela. Hypertenze z pohledu porodní asistentky. Vysoká škola zdravotnická, o. p. s. Stupeň kvalifikace: Bakalář (Bc.). Vedoucí práce: MUDr. Magdalena Kučerová. Praha. 2020. 55 s. Tématem této bakalářské práce je Hypertenze v těhotenství z pohledu porodní asistentky. Práce se skládá z části teoretické a části praktické. V teoretické části se zaměříme na problematiku krevního tlaku, popíšeme jeho definici fyziologickou a patofyziologickou a průběh hypertenze. Všimneme si změn, které nastávají v těhotenství, uvedeme rizikové faktory ovlivňující těhotenství ženy a z toho plynoucí komplikace hypertenze. Vysvětlíme úlohu porodní asistentky v péči o těhotnou ženu s hypertenzí. V praktické části bude popsána kazuistika u ženy, u které byla prokázána hypertenze. U ženy již v prvním těhotenství byl diagnostikován HELLP Syndrom, proto byla při následném těhotenství v 36. týdnu poslána do rizikové poradny. Následně bude popsán celkový stav pacientky a podrobně specifikován zdravotní stav těhotné ženy po jednotlivých dnech hospitalizace na rizikovém oddělení. Dále bude popsáno doporučení pro praxi.

The subject of the bachelor thesis is Hypertension during pregnancy from the midwife´s point of view. The thesis consists of a theoretical and a practical part. In the theoretical part we focus on the matters of high blood pressure, we describe its physiological and pathophysiological definition and the course of hypertension. We notice the changes occurring during pregnancy, we adduce the risk factors affecting the woman´s pregnancy and the resulting complication of hypertension. We explain the midwife´s role during her care of the pregnant woman with hypertension. In the practical part there will be described casuistry of a woman with ascertained hypertension. Still during the woman´s first pregnancy the HELLP Syndrome was diagnosed, therefore she was sent during the next pregnancy to risk consulting institution. Sequentially, the woman´s overall status will be described, and the pregnant woman´s health condition will be specified in detail in individual days of her hospitalization in the risk department. We describe the recomandation for practice as well.
