Neural networks learning using genetic algorithms

Abstract:

V předložené práci se zabývám demonstrací schopnosti učení neuronové sítě pomocí genetického algoritmu a zjišťováním nejvhodnější topologie neuronové sítě pro řešení demonstrační úlohy. Další částí práce je výzkum, zda modifikací nastavených pravidel a parametrů genetického algoritmu lze dosáhnout optimalizace, v tomto případě urychlení, procesu učení neuronové sítě. Funkce neuronové sítě a jejího učení pomocí genetického algoritmu je demonstrována na programu pro řešení jednoduché počítačové hry had. Dosažené výsledky v závislosti na topologii sítě i změn v učícím algoritmu jsou statisticky zpracovány a porovnány.

Abstract:

A presented work is focused on a demonstration of a learning ability of a neural network using a genetic algorithm and finding the most suitable neural network topology for solving a demonstration problem. Next part of the work is a research of whether a modification of the set rules of the genetic algorithm can achieve an optimization and acceleration of the neural network learning process. The function of the neural network and its learning by using the genetic algorithm is demonstrated in a program for solving a simple computer game the snake. The achieved results are statistically presented and compared depending on the network topology and changes in the learning algorithm.
