Sustainability of transport in the context of regional development

Abstract:

Cílem disertační práce bylo navrhnout a ověřit postup identifikace střetů zelené a dopravní infrastruktury. Postup vycházel z již dříve zpracováních prací a využil jednotlivé přístupy zpracování a harmonizace dostupných datových a mapových sad, s nimiž bylo možné pomocí vhodných indikátorů vypovídajícím způsobem kvantifikovat míru fragmentace krajiny v řešeném území, vč. historického vývoje. Na vybrané modelové oblasti proběhla identifikace konkrétních kritických míst a zhodnocení jejich funkční průchodnosti v místech hlavních komunikací, vč. historického vývoje bariér. Výsledky analýzy historického vývoje dopravních bariér v kombinaci s terénním šetřením v předmětném území přinesly zjištění, že hlavní migrační bariérou v území je pás území ohraničený na jedné straně dálnicemi D35 a D1, na druhé straně železnicí, silnicí I35, řekou Bečvou a osídlením v jejím okolí. Mezi další migrační bariéry se řadí aktivní lomy a štěrkovny, které spadají do ostatních ploch. Za pozitivní trendy z hlediska vývoje krajiny na území ORP Hranice a ORP Lipník nad Bečvou lze považovat obnovu trvalých travních porostů a pozvolný růst ploch lesa.

Abstract:

The aim of the thesis was to design and verify the procedure for identifying conflicts between green and transport infrastructure. The procedure was based on previously processed works, and I use individual approaches to processing and harmonization of available data and map sets, which it was possible with help of suitable indicators to quantify of landscape fragmentation, incl. historical development. On selected model areas, specific critical points were identified, and their functional passages were evaluated in the places of main roads, incl. historical development of barriers. The results of the analysis of the historical development of traffic barriers in combination with field research in the area found that the main migration barrier in the area is the belt bounded on one side by highways D35 and D1, on the other by rail, road I35, river Bečva and settlements in its surroundings. Other migration barriers include active quarries and gravel pits, which rank among other areas. Positive trends in terms of landscape development in the district Hranice and district Lipník nad Bečvou can be considered the restoration of permanent grasslands and the gradual growth of forest areas
