Influence of social and business trends on logistics

Abstract:

Nové trendy ve společnosti a v podnikání se stávají součástí každodenního života většiny lidí. Ovlivňují jak směr, kterým firmy povedou svoji strategii, tak možnosti vykonávání práce a utváření společenských hodnot. Za tyto trendy považujeme například sdílenou ekonomiku, dekarbonizaci, digitální tržiště, fyzický internet, cokoliv jako služba, Omnikanál a další. Diplomová práce je zaměřena na problematiku využití těchto trendů v oblasti logistiky v praxi a zkoumá jejich přínos pro odvětví. V první části diplomové práce bude představení pojmu logistika, charakteristika a výčet jednotlivých trendů, jejich obecné využití ve světě a vliv na budoucí vývoj společnosti. V druhé části práce bude představena společnost DHL, její vztah k inovacím v logistice a využití jednotlivých trendů. Na závěr práce bude obsahovat vyhodnocení přínosu zmíněných trendů pro odvětví logistiky. Cílem diplomové práce je vyhodnotit přínos sociálních a obchodních trendů pro odvětví logistiky.

Abstract:

New trends in society and business are becoming a part of everyday life for most people. They influence both the direction in which companies will lead their strategy and the possibilities of performing work and shaping social values. We consider these trends to be, for example, the shared economy, decarbonization, digital marketplace, physical Internet, anything as a service, Omnichannel and others. The diploma thesis is focused on the issue of using these trends in the field of logistics in practice and examines their contribution to the industry. In the first part of the diploma thesis, the concept of logistics will be introduced, the characteristics and list of individual trends, their general use in the world and their influence on the future development of society. In the second part of the thesis, the DHL company will be presented, its relationship to innovations in logistics and the use of individual trends. At the end of the work, it will contain an evaluation of the contribution of the mentioned trends to the logistics industry. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the contribution of social and business trends to the logistics industry.
