Education of girls with Asperger‘s syndrome at primary school

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem Edukace dívky s Aspergerovým syndromem na základní škole. Cílem práce je popsání konkrétních projevů Aspergerova syndromu u sledované dívky, jejich specifik a jejich dopad na edukaci. První kapitola charakterizuje Aspergerův syndrom v rámci poruch autistického spektra, zmiňuje základní terminologii a klasifikaci, etiologii a prevalenci. Druhá kapitola se věnuje základní problematice integrace a inkluze, zmiňuje jejich historii i současnost a legislativní rámec inkluzivního vzdělávání. Specifikuje edukaci žáků s poruchou autistického spektra na základní škole, přístup pedagogů k nim a odlišnost dívek s Aspergerovým syndromem od chlapců s Aspergerovým syndromem. Praktická část je věnována kvalitativnímu výzkumu, cíli výzkumu a metodologii. Obsahuje případovou studii, závěry šetření a závěr.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the topic Education of a girl with Asperger's Syndrome at primary school. The aim of the thesis is to describe specific manifestations of Asperger's syndrome in the girl under study, their specifics and their impact on education. The first chapter characterizes Asperger's syndrome in the context of autism spectrum disorders, mentions basic terminology and classification, etiology and prevalence. The second chapter discusses the basic issues of integration and inclusion, mentioning their history and present and the legislative framework of inclusive education. It specifies the education of pupils with autism spectrum disorder in primary school, the approach of teachers to them and the difference between girls with Asperger's syndrome and boys with Asperger's syndrome. The practical part is devoted to qualitative research, research objectives and methodology. Includes a case study, findings of the investigation and a conclusion.
