Basic Characteristics of Educational Novel (Bildungsroman)
Abstract:
Bakalářská práce představuje specifický literární žánr, tzv. Bildungsroman, do češtiny překládaný jako výchovný román. Práce upozorňuje na geografické a jazykové odlišnosti žánru a shrnuje jeho konstitutivní rysy pro různá prostředí. Na základě konstitutivních rysů analyzuje anglický román Nadějné vyhlídky a francouzskou satiru Candide. Dále práce hodnotí přínos daného literárního žánru pro české prostředí …more
Abstract:
The bachelor thesis introduces a specific literary genre, the so called Bildungsroman, translated into Czech as educational novel. The thesis points out the geographical and language distinctions of the genre and summarizes its constitutive features for different backgrounds.
