Electronic communication to the commercial bank

Abstract:

The goal of the this bachelor’s thesis is to present remote communication with a commercial bank as an alternative to cash payments and personal visits to a bank. At first, the thesis defines the concept of electronic banking, its beginnings and development. Then it describes various forms of e-banking. Legal standards governing this issue are summarized in chapter four. Since this form of communication with a bank requires high form of protection, the thesis describes different types of security measures, as well as possible forms of fraud. The seventh chapter analyzes products of selected banks in the Czech Republic. The development of various forms of electronic banking progresses quickly, therefore the latest technologies and products are included as well.

Abstract:

Cieľom tejto bakalárskej práce je predstaviť komunikáciu s bankou na diaľku ako alternatívu k hotovostným platbám a fyzickým návštevám banky. Práca sa najprv zaoberá vymedzením samotného pojmu elektronického bankovníctva, jeho vznikom a vývojom. Následne sa venuje popisu jednotlivých foriem e-bankingu. Právne normy upravujúce túto problematiku sú stručne zhrnuté vo štvrtej kapitole. Keďže táto forma komunikácie s bankou si vyžaduje vysokú formu ochrany, venuje sa práca aj rôznym druhom bezpečnostných opatrení, ale aj možných podvodov. Siedma kapitola sa venuje analýze produktov vybraných bánk v Českej republike. Vývoj rôznych foriem elektronického bankovníctva rýchlo napreduje, a preto práca neopomína ani najnovšie technológie a produkty.
