Game framework for Android

Abstract:

Tato práce řeší problematiku návrhu a tvorby herního frameworku pro operační systém Android. Dále seznamuje s problematikou spojenou s volbou licence, pod kterou mají být vedeny zdrojové kódy a základní herní platební modely. Výstupem frameworku jsou na míru upravené hry s reklamním obsahem. Řešení návrhu a implementace herního frameworku využívá vodopádového modelu vývoje software aplikací. Výsledkem práce je herní framework pro Android a vzorová aplikace, která propaguje obor Aplikované informatiky na Vysoké škole finanční a správní. Přínosem této práce je seznámení čtenáře s informačními technologiemi, potřebnými k vývoji aplikací na platformě Android, postupem návrhu a vývoje aplikace. Práce taktéž zmiňuje nejběžnější problémy, se kterými se lze při vývoji aplikací pro Android setkat.

Abstract:

This thesis addresses design and creation of the gaming framework for Android operating system. Familiarising readers with problems involving the choice of a license under which the source code should be published, the paper provide an outline of alternative game payment models. The application design and imple-mentation of gaming framework uses the waterfall model of the software devel-opment. The framework’s output is a customized game, which contains an adver-tising content. The end product is, therefore, a game framework for Android, which, together with the model application, promotes studies of Applied Informatics at the University of Finance and Administration. The contribution of this work is the familiarization of the reader with information technologies needed for the development of applications in the Android platform, as well as clearly demon-strating steps behind the design process and actual development of an application. The work also points out basic problems, which are likely to occur during the proc-ess of developing application in the Android framework.
