Tato práce si klade za cíl charakterizovat základní poznání o dítěti a dočasné dentici, shrnout dosavadní znalosti v péči o dočasný chrup a prevenci vzniku onemocnění dutiny ústní, a také popsat nejvýznamnější aspekty ošetření takto malých dětských pacientů v ordinaci dentální hygienistky.
