Teoretická část se zabývá přednemocniční neodkladnou péčí, léčebnými postupy, specifickou ošetřovatelskou péčí o pacienty s popáleninovým traumatem a vzdělávání sester v této oblasti. Část ošetřovatelské péče je zaměřena na specifické aspekty péče o pacienty, jejichž stav vyžaduje hospitalizaci na jednotkách intenzivní péče. Empirická část práce se zabývá samotným výzkumným šetřením. Pro výzkumné šetření byly stanoveny dva cíle, k nimž bylo následně vytvořeno pět výzkumných otázek. Vzhledem k rozsáhlému množství specifických oblastí ošetřovatelské péče o pacienty s popáleninovým traumatem byly vybrány pro výzkumné šetření čtyři prioritní oblasti péče – management bolesti, výživa, bariérová ošetřovatelská péče a péče o lůžko a prostředí. Samostatnou oblast výzkumného šetření tvořilo vzdělávání sester. Výsledky výzkumného šetření přinesly zajímavá zjištění rozdílnosti ošetřovatelské péče o tyto pacienty v dotazovaných pracovištích. Tyto výsledky jsou shrnuty v empirické části.

Alena Polanová Consultant: PhDr. Simona Saibertová Number of pages: 121 Number of attachments: 14 Year of the thesis defence: 2016 Summary: The diploma thesis is focused on the specifics of nursing care for patients with burn trauma and it is divided into a theoretical and an empirical part. The theoretical part deals with the pre-hospital emergency care, treatment, specific nursing care for patients with burn trauma and education of nurses in this area. A part of nursing care is focused on specific aspects of the care for those patients who require hospitalization in intensive care units. The empirical part deals with the actual research survey. Two objectives were set down for the survey and five research questions were established afterwards. Due to the extensive number of specific areas within the nursing care for patients with burn trauma, four priority areas of the care were chosen for the research survey – the pain management, nutrition, barrier nursing care and care for the bed and the environment. Education of nurses created a separate area of the research. The results of the research brought interesting findings about diversity of the nursing care for these patients in surveyed workplaces. These results are summarized in the empirical part.
