Educational styles in contemporary families with children in second grade

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou způsobu výchovy v rodinách dětí na druhém stupni základní školy. Práce obsahuje teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část je věnována tématu rodiny, jejímu významu, definici, funkcím, typům a vývoji, tématu výchovy, jejím cílům, výchovným prostředkům a výchovným stylům, a období staršího školního věku dětí, jeho charakteristice, potřebám a rizikům. Praktická část prezentuje výsledky kvalitativního výzkumu provedeného v úplných rodinách s dětmi na druhém stupni základní školy. Cílem výzkumu bylo prozkoumat vyjádření otců a matek k výchově dětí v rodině a zprostředkovat také pohled dítěte. Obsahem této části diplomové práce je metodologie výzkumu, postup při analýze dat získaných hloubkovými rozhovory, interpretace analyzovaných dat a seznámení s výsledky výzkumu.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the issue of the method of education in families of children at the second level of elementary school. The thesis contains a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part is devoted to the topic of the family, its meaning, definition, functions, types and development, the topic of education, its goals, educational means and educational styles, and the later period of children's school age, its characteristics, needs and risks. The practical part presents the results of qualitative research conducted in single-parent families with children in the second grade of elementary school. The aim of the research was to examine the statements of fathers and mothers regarding the upbringing of children in the family and also to convey the child's point of view. The content of this part of the thesis is the research methodology, the procedure for analyzing data obtained through in-depth interviews, the interpretation of the analyzed data and familiarization with the research results.
