Bakalárska práca sa zaoberá finančnou situáciou a spotrebou slovenských domácností. Prvá kapitola je zameraná na teoretické východiská ukazovateľov finančného bohatstva domácností, medzi ktoré patrí rozpočet, spotreba, úspory, investície a pod..
