Abstract:
Pro buňky srdeční svaloviny je typická nízká schopnost regenerace, díky čemuž je v současné době jedinou účinnou možností terapie transplantace, která dokáže zabránit úplnému selhání srdce. Samotná transplantace však není jednoduchá zejména kvůli nedostatku dárců i kvůli imunitní nekompatibilitě transplantovaného orgánu. Vyřešit tyto komplikace by mohlo využití kmenových buněk. Cardiac muscle cells are characterized by a low ability to regenerate. As a result of this limited ability, transplantation is currently the only effective treatment option that can prevent complete heart failure.
