Radionuclide examination of gastric emptying in patients with diabetes and gastroesophageal reflux disease

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá radionuklidovým vyšetřením evakuace žaludku. Zejména se zaměřuje na osoby s diabetem a refluxní chorobou jícnu, u nichž vyšetření proběhlo. V teoretické části se pojednává o anatomii a fyziologii žaludku. Dále práce popisuje obecné postupy při tomto vyšetření a vysvětluje jeho problematiku. Cílem praktické části je porovnání výsledků vyšetření u tří skupin osob, kdy první skupinu tvořili pacienti s diabetem, druhou pacienti s refluxní chorobou jícnu a třetí byla skupina pacientů, u kterých nebyla prokázána ani jedna ze dvou chorob, tudíž jsme tuto skupinu označili jako kontrolní. U nemocných z kontrolní skupiny nebyla žádnou jinou metodou prokázána funkční porucha žaludeční motility a výsledek poločasu evakuace žaludku byl v normálovém rozmezí.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with radionuclide gastric emptying examination, especially in patients with diabetes and gastroesophageal reflux disease. The teoretical part deals with the anatomy and physiology of the stomach. Furthermore, the thesis describes the general procedures of gastric emptying examination. The aim of the practical part is to compare the results of gastric emptying examination in three groups of people, where the first group was patients with diabetes, the second group was patients with gastroesophageal reflux disease and the third was group of patients in whom neither of the two disease was demonstrated. In patients from the control group, no other method demonstrated a functional impairment of gastric motility and the result of gastric emptying was in the normal range.
