Floorball player as a manager? Correlation of personality characteristics between top athletes and top managers.

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce s názvem „Florbalista manažerem? Korelace osobnostních charakteristik vrcholového sportovce a top manažera“ se zaměřuje na zkoumání korelace osobnostních charakteristik mezi top manažery a vrcholovými sportovci. Využívá kombinaci kvantitativního a kvalitativního přístupu, kde jsou analyzována data z dotazníků a osobních rozhovorů. Výzkum se zaměřuje na identifikaci podobností a rozdílů v osobnostních rysech mezi oběma skupinami a jejich vztah k pracovnímu prostředí. Výsledky této práce přispějí k lepšímu porozumění požadavků a motivací, které ovlivňují úspěch v těchto vysoce náročných oblastech a mohou sloužit jako základ pro další výzkum v oblasti psychologie osobnosti a manažerských studií.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis entitled "Floorball player as a manager? Correlation of personality characteristics between top athletes and top managers" focuses on examining the correlation of personality characteristics between top managers and elite athletes. It utilizes a combination of quantitative and qualitative approaches, where data from questionnaires and personal interviews are analyzed. The research aims to identify similarities and differences in personality traits between the two groups and their relationship to the work environment. The findings of this study will contribute to a better understanding of the demands and motivations that influence success in these highly demanding fields and can serve as a foundation for further research in the fields of personality psychology and management studies.
