Prestige of the profession of nurses in region Vysocina

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá povoláním všeobecných sester. Vztahuje se na hodnocení tohoto povolání očima laické veřejnosti versus hodnocení samotnými sestrami. V teoretické části se na úvod zabývám samotným vývojem ošetřovatelství od prvopočátků, dále složkami charitativními, medicínskými a vzdělávacími. Zajímá mě samotná historie našeho ošetřovatelství a samotná vědecká koncepce ošetřovatelství. Popisuji charakteristické rysy povolání, funkce a náplň jejich práce. Pokračuji přes samotnou volbu stát se sestrou, motivátory a osobnostní předpoklady, až po profesní image a prestiž. V praktické části bakalářské práce se věnuji vyhodnocení výsledku výzkumu. Hodnocení tohoto povolání se vztahuje na laickou veřejnost versus sestry. Interpretace výsledků a jejich analýza obou skupin byla popisem této práce.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the profession of nurses. It applies to the evaluation of the profession through the eyes of the public against the general assessment by nurses. The development of nursing from the very beginning is being looked into in the theoretical part of the introduction. Charitable, medical and educational components are further parts to be assessed. I have focused my research mainly on the actual history of the Czech nursing and on the very scientific concept of nursing. My thesis describes the typical attributes of the nurse profession, her role and content of her work. Furthermore, I have provided some remarks on how a person makes one ´s choice to become a nurse, her incentives and personal skills. I have also paid attention to professional image and prestige of this particular occupation. The practical part of the thesis has been devoted to the profession of nurses. Evaluation of this occupation has been performed by the general public and nurses. Result clarification and analysis of the two groups has been description of the thesis.
