Reform of social services and the impact of anchoring quality into law on providers

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá reformou sociálních služeb v České republice a dopadem zákonného ukotvení kvality na poskytovatele sociálních služeb. Sociální služby v našich zemích prošly dlouhým historickým vývojem, kdy přijetí zákona č. 108/2006 Sb., o sociálních službách, který byl podepsán prezidentem republiky dne 24. 3. 2006 - bylo stěžejním momentem, který přinesl do systému poskytování sociálních služeb dlouho očekávané sjednocení. Cílem práce je shrnutí historického vývoje systému poskytování sociálních služeb s důrazem na zákon o sociálních službách a dále zhodnocením jeho dopadů do praxe a navržení vhodnějších řešení vytipovaných problematických bodů této právní úpravy.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the development of the social services system in the Czech Republic. Emphasis is given to the reform of the system associated with the adoption of the law on social services and the impact of legal anchoring quality social service providers. Social services have undergone a long historical development, the adoption of Act no. 108/2006 Coll., On Social Services, which was signed by the President on 24 March 2006, became a pivotal moment that brought the system of providing social services long-awaited self-regulation . The aim of the thesis is a summary of the historical development of the system of providing social services with emphasis on the creation of the Social Services Act and further evaluation of its impact on practice.
