Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje katolické církvi ve Frýdku především v letech 1945-1950. Nahlíží na problematiku nástupu totalitního režimu v tehdejším Československu a dopad na společnost s ním spojený. Popisuje vznik frýdecké farnosti a zajímavosti spojené s budováním kostela Panny Marie na Vápenkách v 18. století. Zachycuje jeho postupný vývoj a osobnosti, které se ve spojitosti s ním zapsaly do dějin. Vypovídá taktéž o lidech žijících v okolí Frýdku a jejich zásluze na vytváření kulturní společnosti. Z dobového kontextu se přesouvá do poválečného období, kdy do církevních záležitostí zasahuje komunistická strana a mění jejich dosavadní strukturu. Hlavním cílem bylo otevřeně rozvést tehdejší poměry a změny vyvolané vlivem systému. Práce zahrnuje dobové fotografie barokního katolického kostela ve Frýdku.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is devoted to the activities of the Catholic Church in Frydek during the years 1945-1950. It looks at the issue of the emergence of the totalitarian regime in Czechoslovakia and its impact on society associated with it. This thesis describes the formation of the Frydek parish and events associated with the building of the Church of the Virgin Mary on the limekilns in the 18th century. It captures its development and the personalities in connection withits mark upon history. It tells also of the people living in the vicinity of Frydek and their contribution to the creation of cultural society. The historic context shifts to the postwar period, when the Communist Party intervenedin Church matters and changed its structure. The main objective is to expose the contemporary relations and changes introduced by the system. This work includes historical photos of the baroque Catholic church in Frydek.
