Abstract:
Diplomová práce Thad Jones/Mel Lewis Orchestra je rozdělena na dvě části. První část pojednává o historii tohoto orchestru a o životě dvou lídrů tohoto tělesa. Druhá část práce se věnuje rozboru skladatelské práce Thad Jonese pro big band a detailně rozebírá jednu z jeho skladeb s názvem Three and one
Abstract:
Bachelor thesis concerns Thad Jones/Mel Lewis Orchestra and it’s divided into two parts. First part deal with history of this band and with lifes of both leaders. Second part concern analysis of Thad Jones‘ composition work for big band a it focus in detail on one of his songs – Three and one.
