Specifics of nursing care for a patient with tongue cancer

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce na téma ,,Specifika ošetřovatelské péče o pacienta s rakovinou jazyka?, se zabývá informovaností a znalostmi zdravotnického personálu, při vykonávaní ošetřovatelské péče u pacienta s daným onemocněním. Práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a empirickou. Teoretická část bakalářské práce je okrajově zaměřena na anatomii, která je nejen pro lékaře, ale také pro sestry důležitým ukazatelem včasného stanovení ošetřovatelské diagnózy, přičemž pozornost je zde věnována především etiologii, diagnostice a ošetřovatelské péči o pacienta s rakovinou jazyka, terapii, psychické stránce pacienta, bolesti a prevenci. V empirické části bakalářské práce je pozornost věnována specifikům ošetřovatelské péče bezprostředně po operaci karcinomu jazyka, ošetřovatelským diagnózám, určujícím znakům, souvisejícím a rizikovým faktorům a v neposlední řadě intervencím sester, při výskytu ošetřovatelského problému. Za použití metody kasuistikou byla vybrána vzhledem k ojedinělému výskytu onemocnění jedna pacientka, která byla indikována k operaci rakoviny jazyka. Diagnostický algoritmus podle NANDA International 2009 ? 2011, který byl použit ke stanovení ošetřovatelských diagnóz. Z ošetřovatelských diagnóz se u pacientky po operaci nejčastěji vyskytla akutní bolest, porucha řeči a příjmu potravy. Proto bylo nutné včasné zahájení ošetřovatelských problému a stanovení nejvhodnějších intervencí sester, abychom tím předešly vzniku komplikací.

Abstract:

This Bachelor thesis theme is ?Specifics of nursing care of the patient with tongue cancer?, which is focused to education and know-how of medical staff for performing nursing care of the patient with this specific illness. There are two parts of the thesis, theoretical one and empirical one. Theoretical part of the thesis is partially focused to the Anatomy, which is important for doctors and nurses for early nursing care diagnosis with the special focus to etiology, diagnostic, and nursing care procedures of the patient with tongue cancer, its therapy, psychological aspect of the patient, his pain and its prevention. Empirical part of the thesis is focused to specific nursing care just after the surgery of tongue cancer, nursing diagnosis procedures, characteristic features, related risk factors, and finally the nurse intervention in case of nursing trouble. As a case study there were selected a patient diagnosed to surgery of tongue cancer. The diagnostic algorithm based on NANDA International 2009 ? 2011 was selected for nursing care procedures. The patients nursing diagnosis was especially the acute pain, speech disorders and food intake troubles. There was important early nursing diagnosis to find the best nurse intervention, mainly to prevent complications.
