Historical development of money in the territory of ancient Rome

Abstract:

Cílem této bakalářské práce je popsat mincovní vývoj na území starověkého Říma od počátku až do konce existence říše. Zásadní jsou druhy a typy jednotlivých mincí, jejich kvalita, složení a hodnota. Zároveň jsou zařazeny do politických událostí té doby s přihlédnutím na to, jaký vliv na nich zanechaly a jak byly regulovány mincovními reformami konkrétních panovníků.

Abstract:

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to describe the coinage development in the area of ancient Rome from the beginning to the end of the existence of the empire. The most important are the types and species of individual coins, their quality, structure and value. At the same time, they are classified into the political events of that time, taking into account the influence they left on them and how they were regulated by the coinage reforms of specific rulers.
