The use of forensic-technical documentation in forensic practice

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na kriminalisticko-technickou dokumentaci v kriminalistické praxi, jejíž nezbytnou součástí je protokol o ohledání místa činu, topografická dokumentace, fotografická dokumentace, ale také případná audio a video dokumentace. Kvalitně zpracovaná kriminalisticko-technická dokumentace umožňuje Policii ČR a dalším orgánům činným v trestním řízení, vžít se do skutečností, které probíhali na místě činu a utvořit si tak jasnou představu o činnostech pachatele, oběti, a dalších zúčastněných osob kriminalisticko-relevantní události. Práce bude rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. V teoretické části se bude práce kromě obecného pojetí kriminalisticko-technické dokumentace věnovat také průřezu historie kriminalisticko-technické dokumentace od samotných počátků, až po nejnovější a nejmodernější metody 21. století. Dále bude diplomová práce obsahovat druhy a komparaci těch nejpoužívanějších metod kriminalistické dokumentace. Každý příslušník obvodního oddělení Policie ČR nebo služby kriminální policie a vyšetřování má za úkol co nejobjektivněji zadokumentovat všechny kriminalistické stopy a změny na místě činu, které nastaly v průběhu kriminalisticky relevantní události. Podle této zpracované dokumentace se následně hledají odpovědi na základní kriminalistické otázky. V praktické části se tak diplomová práce bude zabývat smyšleným případem a následnými postupy pro zhotovení kriminalisticko-technické dokumentace včetně úředního záznamu z místa činu, protokolu o ohledání místa činu, fotodokumentace, topografické dokumentace ve formě náčrtku, a také videodokumentace. Tato práce by měla navrhnout nejefektivnější způsoby pro zhotovení kriminalisticko-technické dokumentace.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis is focused on criminological-technical documentation in criminological practice, an essential part of which is the crime scene inspection protocol, topographical documentation, photographic documentation, but also audio and video documentation, if any. High-quality criminalistic-technical documentation allows the Police of the Czech Republic and other law enforcement agencies to understand the facts that took place at the scene of the crime and thus form a clear picture of the activities of the perpetrator, the victim, and other persons involved in the criminalistically-relevant event. The work will be divided into a theoretical and a practical part. In the theoretical part, in addition to the general concept of forensic-technical documentation, the work will also focus on a cross-section of the history of forensic-technical documentation from the very beginnings to the latest and most modern methods of the 21st century. Furthermore, the thesis will contain the types and comparison of the most used methods of forensic documentation. Each member of the district department of the Police of the Czech Republic or the criminal police and investigation service has the task of documenting as objectively as possible all forensic traces and changes at the crime scene that occurred during the forensically relevant event. Based on this processed documentation, answers to basic criminalistic questions are subsequently sought. In the practical part, the thesis will deal with a fictitious case and subsequent procedures for the production of criminalistic-technical documentation, including an official record from the scene of the crime, a report on the inspection of the crime scene, photo documentation, topographical documentation in the form of a sketch, as well as video documentation. This work should propose the most effective methods for creating forensic-technical documentation.
