Patient Preparation for Kidney Transplantation

Abstract:

V teoretické části se zabýváme akutním a chronickým selháním ledvin, dialyzační léčbou, transplantací ledviny. Je zde zmíněna i kombinovaná transplantace ledviny a pankreatu, podmínky pro zapsání na čekací listinu, jak je vybrán vhodný dárce, co je součástí transplantačního zákona, imunosupresivní léčba, komplikace a kontraindikace transplantace. Na závěr je zmíněna příprava nejen pacienta k samotné transplantaci, ale také jak je ledvina připravována a uchována těsně před transplantací. V praktické části jsme se zaměřily na informovanost respondentů o svém onemocnění, a zda ví, jak postupovat, pokud je jim vybrán vhodný dárce. Využily jsme kvalitativní meto-du rozhovoru, který jsme zpracovaly.

Abstract:

In the theoretical part we deal with acute and chronic kidney failure, dialysis therapy and kidney transplantation. There is mention combined kidney and pancreas transplantation, what the requirements for accept in waiting list are, how the suitable donor is chosen, what is transplantation law about, immunosuppressive therapy, complication and contraindica-tion of transplantation. In conclusion is mention preparation not only of patient but also how kidney is prepared and kept before transplantation. In the practical part we focused how respondents are informed about their disease and if they know what to do when suitable donor is found. We used qualitative method of inter-view and after that we processed it.
