Emotional Intelligence and Prosocial Behavior of Students from Different Types of Secondary Schools

Abstract:

Ve své bakalářské práce se zaměřuji na problematiku emoční inteligence a prosociálního chování u studentů z různých typů středních škol. Práce je rozdělená na část teoretickou a část výzkumnou. V první části se zabývám emoční inteligencí, jejím vývojem, modely emoční inteligence a srovnávám emoční inteligenci s inteligencí sociální. Dále vymezuji prosociální chování, jeho formy a typy a popisuji determinanty prosociálního chování. V druhé části mé práce prezentuji výsledky výzkumu. Studie byla zaměřená na srovnání úrovně emoční inteligence a úrovně prosociálního chování u adolescentů ze středních škol.

Abstract:

This thesis is focused on the theme of the emotional intelligence and prosocial behavior of students from different types of secondary schools. It is divided into two parts ? theoretical and research. In the first part I deal with the emotional intelligence - development of the emotional intelligence, models of emotional intelligence and I compare emotional intelligence with social intelligence. Then I define prosocial behavior ? its form and types and I describe determinants of prosocial behavior. In the second part of my thesis I present research results. The study was concentrated on the comparison of the level of emotional intelligence and the degree of prosocial behavior of adolescents from secondary schools.
