Design of Steering Wheel and Mold for its Production

Abstract:

Tématem diplomové práce je konstrukční návrh formy a dílu použitého v sestavě dětského vozidla. Jedná se o volant, který je součástí řídícího mechanismu. Konstrukce dílu i formy je řešena pro vstřikování za pomocí asistence plynu, aby bylo dosaženo snížení hmotnosti a úspory materiálu při zachování plné funkčnosti a bezpečnosti dílu. Forma pro výrobu dílu je navržena pro použití technologie vstřikování GIT. V teoretické části jsou popsány polymery, zejména termoplasty. Je zde popsána metoda vstřikování plastů a s ní související výrobní prostředky, jako jsou formy a stroje. Závěr teoretické části je zaměřen na technologii dutých výrobků, především vstřikováním za asistence plynu. Praktická část je zaměřena na konstrukci dílu a požadavků na díl, které se týkají funkce výrobku. Z možných způsobů řešení byla vybrána ta varianta, která by měla snížit případný výskyt problémů v sériové výrobě. V dalších kapitolách praktické části je popis konstrukce formy a její ově-ření pomocí analýzy toku polymeru a vytvoření dutiny plynem.

Abstract:

The topic of the thesis is design this part used in the assembly of the children's vehi-cle. This is the steering wheel, which is part of the control mechanism. The construction of the part and the mold is designed for injection molding using a gas assisted to achieve weight reduction and material savings of required full functionality and safety this part. The part is designed for injection molding GIT. The theoretical part describes, especially thermoplastics polymers, especially thermoplastics, there is provided a method of injection molding and related manufacturing equipment, such as molds and machines. Conclusion the theoretical part focuses on the technology of products with hollow, mainly gas injection for assistance. The practical part is focused on the design of part, the requirements of the part relating to the function of the product. Possible solution was chosen as optimization reduces the possible problems in serial production. In next chapters of practical part is a description of mold design and its verification by analyzing the flow of the polymer and assisted gas injection molding.
